Called to Set the Captives Free

As I've grown in understanding over the years, and experienced radical healing from Lyme disease, depression, anxiety, and deliverance from addiction, abuse, trauma and demonic torment — I now know this is why Yeshua said He came, "to set the captives free" (Isaiah 61:1). It was never about establishing a religion but setting people free through His great power and love, and reconciling us to the Heavenly Father.

From the beginning, the enemy tried to destroy my identity and even my very life. I was raised in an abusive household and experienced institutionalization, in very oppressive forms, and religious dogma in the name of "help," but none of it worked. I walked away from the church for many years and God and turned to seek Him in other places. First to Buddhism, then earth magic, "plant medicines", Astrology, divination and New Age practices, rieki and the occult. This lasted for almost a decade, and did more harm than good, opening many demonic doorways in my life, leaving me even more confused. Then one day, the Lord left the ninety-nine (Matthew 18:12) and brought me back to Him in 2014, and revealed Himself in a powerful dream. I tore down the false idols in my life and submitted to only Yeshua through discipleship, prayer, and studying the Word. In 2017, I was re-baptized in water and fire (Luke 3:16), received the Holy Spirit and His gifts (1 Corinthians 12), and immediately began walking in my calling. I connected with the ministry group that started the Jesus Revolution in San Francisco and began doing street ministry and outreach to the homeless and drug affected communities. This is where I started learning about the demonic realms (Ephesians 6) and true healing and deliverance ministry.

I know without a doubt that God has called me to stand in the gap and in prayer for those who are searching for truth, who want to come back to the Lord, and who need to be set free, but might feel uncomfortable going into a conventional church. As believers, we're called to walk out the power of the gospel of Yeshua of Nazareth through love and the demonstration of the Holy Spirit's power (1 Corinthians 2:4), to set the captives free (Isaiah 61:1). My hope for you is this: first, that you know you are not alone, and second, that you know freedom and deliverance is possible through the power and blood of Yeshua alone. I want to walk alongside you in that journey.

Demons are real but so is Yeshua and the power of His name.
